PAUL Marylebone: Reviews & Ratings
The pastry is nice the hot chocolate is only warm what I didn’t like it , unfortunately the tables was dirty and when they cleaned all the crumbs just fell on the floor and seats . It’s ok but could be better .
I liked the look of the window display of breads baguettes and pastries and was tempted to go inside. A clean and welcoming little set up inside with plenty of seating in the back area Service was quick and efficient I enjoyed a smooth oaty latte and a croque Monsieur which was average in taste My husband enjoyed a smooth Americano It was a relaxing cafe to take a break from the busy streets. I took away a delicious croissant. The toilet area didn't have a lock that worked and the bin was overflowing with used tissues. There was no toilet paper left in the dispenser so that area needs improvement. I would have coffee and cake there another time with the prices being reasonable. 13.09.24..A return visitors today and was pleasantly surprised to see the place had been given a upgrade with seats and a bar with stools as an extra addition. Also the decor had been improved. Update 16.12.24 Today I enjoyed a frothy coffee and sugar brioche bun. To add the toilet facilities have been updated were very clean and with a working lock to the door.
I have always loved their baguettes and wanted to try something different. I ordered the salmon toast which was delicious and my friend ordered the baguette and butter and jam. Well so much for the the quarter of a baguette with salted butter and some pre packed ja.. that was disappointing. The almond croissant fastasticand the apricot Danish was just Ok.

Located on the bustling Marylebone High Street, PAUL Marylebone offers a charming slice of French bakery tradition in the heart of London. Renowned for its artisanal breads, delicate pastries, and inviting café atmosphere, this spot draws locals and visitors alike seeking a moment of calm away from the city's pace. The window display alone, with its tempting array of freshly baked baguettes and pastries, entices passersby to step inside and indulge.
PAUL’s selection delights with classic offerings such as flaky almond croissants and gently frothy coffees. One can savor a smooth oaty latte or a robust Americano while enjoying light bites like the salmon toast or a croque Monsieur. The almond croissant, in particular, stands out as a fantastic treat—a perfect balance of buttery layers and nutty sweetness. Meanwhile, the apricot Danish offers a more subtle contrast, pleasing but more modest in flavor.
The café ambiance enhances the experience, with its cozy seating tucked away at the back and recent upgrades that include stylish bar stools and refreshed décor. This thoughtful design invites customers to linger, making it an ideal spot for a quiet breakfast or a relaxing coffee break. Despite some early concerns with cleanliness and restroom facilities, recent improvements have made the space much more comfortable and welcoming.
What resonates most at PAUL Marylebone is the blend of friendly service and a sincere dedication to quality. The staff’s warmth recalls the kindness of a shared morning greeting, adding a human touch to every visit.
